Create User Account[edit | edit source]

You must create an account to create and edit pages. Usernames are permanent - you will not be able to change your username once the credentials are created. Please use a professional email address (associated with a company, educational institution, government, etc.) for your credentials.

Contributions[edit | edit source]

Please review the full list of articles first from this page: Table of Contents. If a relevant page exists, edit and improve it. If not, you can create the page. After creating a new page, please add the article to the Table of Contents.

Using the Template[edit | edit source]

The Trending Transport Template is located here: Article Template

The template is flexible depending on the topic, but must include:

  • Overview
  • Analysis of Implications
  • Case Studies

Style Guide[edit | edit source]

Utilizing the headers available in the editing menu, and formatting articles in the image of the Template are the basis of implementing the Trending Transport Style Guide. For further information, reference the Style Guide.

Cite Sources[edit | edit source]

Citations and hyperlinks to relevant websites are absolutely critical towards creating & maintaining articles that are detailed, factual, well-informed, and well-referenced. The Trending Transport citation format is as follows:

Author Last Name, Author First Name (Date Published). “Article Title”. Accessed On [Date]. Hyperlink.

Example:

Hawkins, Andrew (July 9, 2018). “Uber is teaming up with Lime to add electric scooters to its app”. Accessed August 17, 2020. https://www.theverge.com/2018/7/9/17548848/uber-investment-lime-scooter-alphabet

Discussion Pages[edit | edit source]

The purpose of the discussion page is to provide a space for reviewers to discuss changes to its associated article, not as a platform for personal views on the subject. These pages are guided by communication, courtesy, and consideration. If you make significant changes to an article (e.g. completely rewrite a section), please make note of your changes on the discussion page. All posts on the discussion page should be signed with ~~~~ (which automatically links to the username and timestamp of the commenter).

Saving Changes[edit | edit source]

Once changes are made to each page, please fill in the summary of changes for information tracking and review purposes. Please tag your changes with one of the following categories:

  • Nonexistent
  • Outline
  • Partially Written
  • Fully Written
  • Needs Revision
